Mr. Wade Harris age 81 of Elkton, KY passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 5:11 p.m. at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN. Services will be on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. at Latham Funeral Home with Rev. Willard Knipp officiating. Burial will follow in the Gant Cemetery in Sharon Grove, KY. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Latham Funeral Home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday until the funeral hour at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Harris was born on April 5, 1942, in Sharon Grove, KY. He was a farmer and was a retired Foreman at Trane in Clarksville, TN. He was a member of Petrie Memorial Methodist Church and the Elk Fork Country Club in Elkton where he enjoyed playing golf and sitting on the back porch. Mr. Harris loved his kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, as well as UK basketball. He is preceded in death by his parents Melvin Layton Harris and Pauline Driskill Harris, his grandson Jared Walters, his brother Ronald Harris, and his sister Brenda Tabb.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Dianna Harris of Elkton, KY, his son Kevin Harris and his wife Jill of Elkton, his daughter Tracy Hunt and her husband Jason of Elkton, 4 grandchildren Jordan Walters and his wife Darby, Tyler Harris, Tara Gorrell and her husband Jacob, Kyle Harris, and his 3 great-grandchildren Harrison Walters, Abel Walters, and Jolie Gorrell.
