

Three men were charged Friday morning after a shooting on Cathcart Road in Allegre Sunday afternoon.
Kentucky State Police say 51-year-old Christopher Segers, 75-year-old Charles Segers, and 18-year-old Clayton Segers who all suffered gunshot wounds were all charged after an assault that led to shots fired in Allegre.
Todd County emergency personnel say one of the Segers was flown from the Allegre Fire Department to Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. A second one was taken by ambulance to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and a third showed up at Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville by private vehicle.
Kentucky State Police say the Segers got into an argument over the property with 47-year-old Paul Vangotum and assaulted him leading Vangotum to fire shots hitting three of them just before 3 p.m. Sunday.
Vangotum was also reportedly taken to the hospital due to injuries from the assault.
Charles Segers and Christopher Segers were charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, third-degree criminal trespassing, and third-degree terroristic threatening. Clayton Segers was charged with fourth-degree assault, first-degree wanton endangerment, and third-degree criminal trespassing.
