The holiday season is right around the corner, and with it comes time for the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program.
The Salvation Army Hopkinsville Corps, which serves Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties, is currently hard at work getting all the applications in and readying angels to be placed on trees.
Corps Officer Lt. Lindsey Galabeas says community members will be able to “adopt” an angel next month.
There is no limit to the amount of angels the community can adopt.
The Salvation Army also provides a related program called Forgotten Angels.
Gifts can also be purchased online through a Walmart registry, accessed via the Hopkinsville Corps’ Facebook page.
