Ghosts, goblins, and Halloween enthusiasts of all ages made their way to the 80th annual Halloween Carnival in Trenton on Saturday evening.

Since its beginning, the carnival saw some of its biggest changes this year and Trenton Community Center President Tonya West was excited about the huge crowd.

In addition to the traditional games, cake walk, costume contest, silent auction, and food, the carnival featured outdoor bouncers, a photo booth, a guillotine, Dragon’s Draw auction, and a renovated kitchen and bathrooms.

Additionally, the old schoolhouse was transformed into a “Coulrophobia in 3D” haunted house operated by HauntedPembroke.

Members of the non-profit Trenton Community Center are committed to the upkeep and restoration of the old Trenton school and gym. The carnival is the organization’s biggest fundraiser.
