The Todd County Board of Education set the 2023-24 tax rate during a special-called meeting Thursday evening.
Following a fifteen minute public comment hearing, during which no comments were made – the board unanimously approved the rates.
The real and personal property tax rates are set at 46.6 cents per $100 of assessed value. The rate is expected to produce over $3.78 million; of that amount, over $639,000 is from new and personal property.
Additionally, the board set the motor vehicle tax rate at 52.4 cents per $100 and approved a three-percent utility tax rate.
